The Roman Rumble event takes place in Ridge Ferry Park utilizing a paved path along the scenic Oostanaula River.  The 2 Mile Health Walk and USATF certified 5K course follow separate routes that are mostly flat with a few rolling hills.

The Roman Rumble is a benefit event with net proceeds going to Harbor House of Rome, a child advocacy center, that provides a child-friendly environment to assist families involved in the many steps of a child abuse investigation.

Over the past 4 years, we have raised more than $27,000 for Harbor House!

Harbor House provides a child-friendly environment to assist families involved in the many steps of a child abuse investigation.  We coordinate prevention programs which help put an end to abuse before it begins.  When there are allegations of abuse, we provide intervention with a child-friendly atmosphere to interview the child.  We also provide  support groups for those families where abuse has occurred.

Harbor House is a fully accredited member of The Children's Advocacy Centers of Georgia and The National Children's Alliance.

You can learn more about Harbor House by visiting www.nwga-cac.org.
